It’s been said that a practitioner can only guide a client as far as they themself have traveled, and I can honestly say I’ve walked a fair mile in this life. Many trials have blessed me with a deep well of compassion and the understanding that the ubiquity of human suffering and loss is evidence that none of us are truly strangers to one another.
In my search for Truth, I’ve investigated numerous wisdom traditions including Taoism, Vedic Science, Advaita Vendanta, Hinduism, and Tibetan Buddhism, before finding my spiritual home in the mysteries of Eastern Orthodox Christianity, an Apostolic Faith tracing its teachings and unbroken lineage directly to Christianity’s first 12 apostles.
Formal education includes a stint in acupuncture school, a bachelor of science in psychology, and, more recently, a master’s in counseling psychology from Bastyr Naturopathic University. More on my traditional education and experience can be found here.
My earnest spiritual education began 13 years ago when I entered a rigorous apprenticeship with a contemplative and reclusive Christian mystic. She showed me the inherent insubstantiality of the ego, revealed the irrational programming of my subconscious mind, and guided me through the shadows of my limiting beliefs and fears to deepen my understanding of the Eternal Dharma and my love for Christ.
